WSU coach Scott Nagy said the waiting game could go all the way until the school year begins.
“There’s still guys transferring now, there will be guys transferring in July, there will be guys transferring in August,” he said. “I mean, you wouldn’t think that would be the case but it happens.”

Nagy said he is looking for a player who fits the program, not just someone to fill a vacancy.
Even if the Raiders do not fill the openings, they still could have a deeper bench than last year with Bill Wampler and James Mann coming off their redshirt seasons and the three incoming freshmen, Grant Basile, Malachi Smith and Skyelar Potter, each having a chance to contribute right away.
