About Wright State: The Raiders can capture their second league title in program history with a win in their regular-season finale. Their only other crown was a co-championship with Butler in 2006-07. … They shot just 39.7 percent from the field at Green Bay, ending a streak of four straight games shooting at least 49.2 percent and scoring 81 points or more. They were 7 of 28 on 3-pointers after going 29 of 61 in their previous three games. … Gentry has averaged 6.8 points while shooting 33.3 in his last four games. He averaged 13.0 points and shot 44.4 percent in the first 26 games. He's also shot 9 of 46 on 3's in his last 12 games. … Bill Wampler, averaging 14.8 points off the bench, and Ernsthuasen were among six players named to the league's all-academic team Thursday. Wampler has averaged 21 points in his last three games while shooting 56.8 percent from the field and 57.1 on 3's.

About Milwaukee: After going 16-17 last season, the Panthers lost their top three scorers to transfer: Jeremiah Bell (14.1), Brock Stull (13.4) and Bryce Nze (10.3). Bell went to UAB, Stull to Minnesota and Nze, who also was the top rebounder (8.5), to Butler. Two other key contributors, August Haas and Jeremy Johnson, also transferred out. That's why they've plummeted this season. They've already been eliminated from the conference tourney along with Cleveland State by not finishing among the top eight teams. … They built a 12-point first-half lead at home Thursday against Northern Kentucky but couldn't hold on. Darius Roy, the team's leading scorer with a 15.8 average, missed the game for undisclosed reasons.

Coming up: The Horizon League tourney is shaping up with Wright State, Northern Kentucky, Green Bay and Oakland all securing home games in the quarterfinals. There's a jumble among the other four teams qualifying, UIC, IUPUI, Youngstown State and Detroit Mercy, so the Raiders won't know their opponent for Tuesday's 8 p.m. matchup until after Saturday's games.
