About Wright State: The Raiders played North Florida at the Nutter Center two years ago and prevailed, 75-67. … They've had two impressive performances and one dud. They responded to a 19-loss at Murray State with an 84-74 home win over Toledo behind Gentry's 30 points Wednesday. They dominated the boards, 48-27, after getting out-rebounded by Murray State, 41-26. … Nagy confirmed sophomore wing Jaylon Hall is out for the season and will have shoulder surgery, which will require a fourth-month recovery. The Raiders are looking for someone to take his place in the rotation, and freshman guard Skyelar Potter looks like a suitable replacement after notching 13 points and 11 rebounds against Toledo. Another freshman, Malachi Smith, is expected to get some time at point guard when Gentry needs a breather. … The Raiders aren't reaching their goal yet of shooting 40 percent on 3s, hitting 35.2 percent so far, but Gentry is 6-of-13, Wampler 8-of-19, Potter 5-of-12 and Hughes 4-of-11.

About North Florida: The Ospreys have had back-to-back losing seasons but reached the 2015 NCAA tournament and 2016 NIT. … They were picked fourth in the Atlantic Sun Conference and are coming off a 98-83 win over Edward Waters College, an NAIA school located near their campus in Jacksonville. They lost at Dayton, 78-70, in their opener and were defeated by Penn State, 87-72. … Gandia-Rosa and Noah Horchler were preseason all-league picks. Gandia-Rosa led the league in assists last year with a 6.2 average and foul shooting at 89.1 percent. The 6-8 Horchler, who missed the team's last game for undisclosed reasons, is the league's preseason defensive player of the year. He had 19 points and 12 rebounds against Dayton and 10 and 10 at Penn State.

Coming up: The game with North Florida is officially part in the Cancan Challenge. After traveling to Mexico, the Raiders will play Penn State on Tuesday and either Bradley or SMU on Wednesday.
