Wright State set to add four new members to athletic hall of fame

Wright State has announced four additions for its Athletic Hall of Fame: Vaughn Duggins (basketball), Cassandra Lloyd (track), Harold Miller (swimming and diving coach) and Gordie Wise (longtime public address announcer).

Duggins is third all-time in program history with 1,777 points. He was a two-time first-team All-Horizon League pick and a three-time team MVP.

Lloyd, a Springfield product, was named the conference track athlete of the year four times. She was the league champion in the 60- and 100-meter hurdles each year.

The late Miller was instrumental in the development of the swimming and diving program in 1973. He coached 11 All-Americans during his tenure.

Wise was the original men’s basketball announcer and held that position for 49 years until his retirement after last season. He also was chair of the Athletic Council and served as Faculty Athletic Representative.
