Wright State women’s basketball loses two assistant coaches

The Wright State women’s basketball team’s coaching staff will looking different in 2018-19 after two assistants recently took jobs elsewhere.

Former associate head coach Keith Freeman joined the staff at Old Dominion, while assistant Semeka Randall took at job at Cincinnati.

Freeman worked six seasons at WSU after spending 18 seasons as the head coach at Valparaiso.

Randall spent two seasons with the Raiders after working three seasons as the head coach at Alabama A&M.

Wright State is coming off a 23-11 season in which the Raiders advanced to the Horizon League championship game before falling to Green Bay. WSU earned its fifth consecutive postseason bid, losing to Toledo in the first round of the Women’s NIT.
