County task force raid nets fentanyl, crack, firearms and 1 arrest

A 48-year-old Dayton man remained in jail Wednesday night after a drug raid reportedly recovered a large quantity of fentanyl, crack and at least two firearms.

Sean Jermaine Maye Sr. was taken into custody during the Montgomery County RANGE Task Force raid on a residence in the 800 block of Burleigh Avenue, according to the county sheriff’s office.

The raid, prompted by a search warrant, ends a long-term drug trafficking investigation, according to the sheriff's office.

The county prosecutor’s office is reviewing additional charges against Maye, according to the sheriff’s office.
