Cold and snowy today; Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning canceled

An umbrella is good for rain, sleet and snow. This woman was walking to the Target store in Beavercreek on February 3, 2022.

Occasional periods of light snow will be possible into this evening, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Little additional snow accumulation is expected, NWS said. It is still recommended people to still drive cautiously this afternoon and evening due to some slick spots, NWS said.

The Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory were canceled this afternoon.

It will be cold with a high near 33 degrees.

Tonight could see a 30% chance of snow but otherwise will be cloudy. The overnight low will be 29 degrees.

Monday will have a slight chance of snow, but skies will otherwise be cloudy.

The high of the day will be 32 degrees and it will be breezy as well. Temperatures will drop down to the upper 20s overnight, with a partly overcast night sky.

Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a high near 39 degrees.

The overnight will be snowy, with a chance of freezing rain. The low will be 29 degrees.

Sleet will occur on Wednesday with on and off rain and snow throughout the day. The high of the day will be near 40 degrees and the overnight low will be 29 degrees.

Conditions overnight will be cold and cloudy, with a chance of snow later on in the night.

Colder temperatures are expected for the remainder of the week.
