Cold with increasing clouds today, chance of flurries tonight

After a snowy start to the week, today will be cold with increasing clouds and a chance of flurries overnight, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Highs today will be around 27 degrees, and lows will be around 17 degrees, though light wind will make it feel closer to zero overnight.

Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs around 24 degrees.

There’s another chance for isolated snow showers Wednesday evening, which could result in a few tenth of an inch of accumulation.

Clouds will gradually decrease Wednesday night as temperatures fall to around 13 degrees.

Thursday is expected to be the coldest day of the week, with highs around 22 degrees.

It will be mostly sunny but wind chills will be around 10 during the day.

Thursday night will partly cloudy with lows around 4 degrees.

Frigid temperatures continue Friday with highs around 25 degrees during the day. Friday evening also has the best chance for snow for the remainder of the week.
