Cool with chance of showers, thunderstorms today; Sunshine returns tomorrow

Today will be cool with a chance of showers throughout the day and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

The best chance for rain will be along the Interstate 71 corridor. Dry conditions should return by midnight.

Highs will be around 73 degrees.

Overnight, clouds will decrease in the evening for partly cloudy skies. Lows will fall to around 53 degrees.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny and cool with highs around 73 degrees.

Lows will be around 48 degrees.

On Thursday, it will be mostly sunny with highs around 74 degrees, followed by a mostly clear night with lows around 49 degrees.

Sunny and dry conditions continue Friday with mostly clear skies. High temperatures will reach 74 degrees and overnight lows will drop to the low 50s.

Saturday will be dry and partly cloudy throughout the day, but there’s a chance for showers Saturday night. Highs will be in the upper 70s with lows in low 50s.
