Cloudy, cold tonight; rain with sleet, snow possible Sunday

It will be cloudy and cold tonight with the potential for sleet to accompany precipitation over the latter part of the weekend.

Today’s high reached 37 degrees in Dayton, 39 degrees in Cincinnati, and 38 degrees in Columbus, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 25 degrees with a west wind less than 10 mph.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 40 degrees and a light north wind.

Skies will be partly cloudy Saturday night, which will have an overnight low around 27 degrees.

There is a slight chance of sleet between 9 and 11 a.m., then a chance of rain. Otherwise, skies will be mostly cloudy with a high near 39 degrees. Little or no sleet accumulation is expected.

Rain is likely Sunday night, possibly mixing with snow after 11 p.m. before it gradually ends. It will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 29 degrees. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.

The new workweek starts out mostly sunny with a high near 42 degrees on Monday. It will stay dry with highs in the middle to upper 40s for most of the week.
