Patchy frost is possible before 7 a.m. Wednesday, which could prompt an advisory from the NWS to cover or bring indoors any sensitive plants. Frost is unusual in the area after Mother’s Day, which was Sunday, and is the date widely seen as the safe date for gardeners to do their annual planting.
For the rest of the day Wednesday it will be sunny with a high near 61 degrees. Wednesday night will be mostly clear with a low around 38 degrees.
Dry weather is expected to continue through the weekend. Temperatures will gradually rise from middle to upper 60s Thursday and Friday to highs in the low 70s for the weekend.
