This week is predicted to be one of the hottest of the summer so far, with above normal temperatures for the rest of July.
Overnight tonight,, temperatures will fall into the mid-60s overnight.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and hot with highs in the upper 80s. There is a slight chance for rain overnight, when temperatures dip into the low 70s.
The warming trend continues Wednesday with highs in the low 90s. It will be partly sunny with clouds increasing during the late afternoon and evening. Overnight, low temperatures will be around 73 degrees.

The heat index will approach 100 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, according to the NWS.
Thursday brings a mostly sunny and very hot day with a high near 95 degrees. Thursday night will be partly cloudy and cooler, with temperatures falling into the mid-70s.
A few afternoon and evening storms cannot be ruled out later in the week, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms holding off until Friday night and Saturday, the NWS said.
