Two rounds of storms are expected, one in the early afternoon and also in the late afternoon, early evening. There is an increased potential for damaging winds and possibly a tornado and flooding, particularly with the second round, the NWS said.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms that could affect local fireworks displays. The overnight low will fall to around 72 degrees.
There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms again on Friday, gradually trailing off in the afternoon and evening. The high will be near 87 degrees. It also will be windy with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Clouds will decrease during the evening Friday for partly cloudy skies overnight, which will have a low around 65 degrees.
Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 82 degrees. Skies Saturday night will be mostly clear with an overnight low around 61 degrees.
Sunday will be sunny with a high near 86 degrees. Sunday night will be mostly clear with an overnight low around 65 degrees.
Monday will be mostly sunny and hotter, with a high near 90 degrees. A chance of showers and thunderstorms returns overnight.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs near 85 degrees. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms both days, the NWS said.
