Southerly flow will bring very warm temperatures until a cold front moves through late today into tonight, with temperatures expected to remain above normal with the next area of low pressure moving into the region midweek.

Today will be mostly cloudy with highs near 62 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers between 9 and 11 p.m. as lows fall near 35 degrees.

On Tuesday, it’ll be partly sunny with highs around 42 degrees. Tuesday night will be cloudy with a chance of sleet and rain later on. Lows will be near 33 degrees.

Wednesday brings rain and sleet, with additional rain showers after 2 p.m. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.

Highs will be near 37 degrees, while lows fall near 33 degrees over a rainy Wednesday night.

Thursday brings overcast skies with a chance of precipitation before 1 p.m. Highs will be near 53 degrees.

Overnight, it’ll be mostly cloudy as lows dip to 25 degrees.
