Watching our first line of storms move into the region this morning. We do not anticipate this line to be severe in nature, although it has produced frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy rainfall rates resulting in quick ponding on roadways. pic.twitter.com/uZpKn3DddR

[4:05 AM] We're expecting multiple rounds of thunderstorms today, with the greater threat for severe weather during the afternoon hours. Remember, even if a storm isn't "severe," lightning always poses a danger! pic.twitter.com/eeiv6gjW6c

Tonight will be mostly clear but cool with lows dropping into the lower to mid-60s.
Monday will be sunny with a high of 86 degrees, followed by a mostly clear overnight with a low around 65 degrees.
On Tuesday, sunny skies continue with hot and humid conditions and a high of 95 degrees. Scattered precipitation is possible as well. Tuesday night will be much cooler with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 74 degrees.
By late Tuesday, warmer and much more humid air will quickly build back into the region, with chances for storms returning Tuesday night through Wednesday.
Wednesday brings scattered on and off precipitation and thunderstorms, but otherwise will be partly sunny. Highs will be around 91 degrees, while the lows will fall around 64 degrees. Expect a partly overcast night with rain showers before 8 p.m., too.
Drier and cooler conditions will then return for the last part of the workweek before hot temperatures resume into the weekend.
