This week starts with a few chances for rain and even some snow flurries, before warmer and drier temperatures move in, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

There’s a slight chance for rain in southern Ohio, particularly along the Ohio River. The Dayton region has about a 17% chance for showers, with a 26% chance in Cincinnati.

Otherwise it will be mostly overcast today, with a chance for some sunshine in the late afternoon.

Temperatures will rise to 45 degrees and drop into the lower 30s tonight. Expect increasing clouds throughout the night with a slight chance of snow after 4 a.m.

Tuesday has a greater chance for showers Tuesday, including the possibility for some wet snow.

The best chance for rain is the late morning through the early afternoon hours. Depending on how quickly temperatures warm tomorrow, precipitation could start out as snow flurries before transitioning to rain, according to NWS. Road temperatures are expected to stay above freezing, so traffic should not be impacted.

Rain and snow showers will mix together Tuesday morning before tapering off into rain after 10 a.m. Little or no snow accumulation is expected. Highs will be around 43 degrees.

Tuesday night is set to be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain before 1 a.m. The low will fall around 32 degrees.

Wednesday will be partly sunny with the high of the day around 40 degrees. Overnight lows will fall around 30 degrees. Skies will be mostly cloudy overnight.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high of 51 degrees, followed by a partly cloudy night with a low of 40 degrees.
