Today will be mostly sunny and warm with a gentle to moderate westerly breeze, though there is the potential for a few showers as a weak cold front moves through the region.

The high for today will be near 82 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Tonight will be mostly clear with a gentle breeze. The overnight low will fall to around 58 degrees.

Friday will be mostly sunny but cooler with a high below normal, near 76 degrees, along with a moderate breeze.

Skies will be partly cloudy Friday night, with a low around 55 degrees. There will be a gentle breeze from the northwest and will become light from the west after midnight.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 79 degrees and a gentle southwest wind.

Saturday night will be mostly cloudy. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., then a chance of through 2 a.m., followed by a slight chance of showers and storms. The overnight low will fall to around 59 degrees.

Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 78 degrees. Sunday night will be partly cloudy with an overnight low around 56 degrees.

Monday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 75 degrees.

A warming trend will push high temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday back into the 80s, according to the NWS.
