The Niagara women's basketball team was stranded in a bus for 30 hours in West Seneca, New York.
"It started to get bad fast at about 2 a.m. (Tuesday morning) and we came to a dead stop and haven't moved since," coach Kendra Faustin told The Associated Press. "It was a rough weekend for us on the court, and it just won't end."
The Purple Eagles, who were heading home from Pittsburgh, were finally rescued early Wednesday.
