Storms are expected to move toward the Cincinnati area after 9 p.m. and then the Dayton region around 11 p.m. The NWS expects a weakening trend as storms move northeast.
The Miami Valley region has a marginal chance for severe weather, meaning isolated and strong to severe storms are possible, but are generally short-lived.

Showers will continue Saturday and could last through the evening. There could be a break in the rain early Saturday morning, but it’s expected to resume before sunrise. It will also be windy, with some gusts reaching up to 30 mph.
It will be slightly cooler with highs around the high 50s, and lows will be around 49 degrees.
Rain chances will start to fall beginning around nightfall, gradually trailing off early Sunday morning as clouds quickly decrease.
After two rainy days, Sunday will be sunny and pleasant, with highs around 60 degrees. Sunday night will be mostly clear as temperatures fall to a low around 39 degrees.
Above average temperatures will return Monday with highs in the low 70s.
