A cold front will bring the chance for showers Monday evening into night with rain showers changing over to some light snow overnight.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will affect parts of the region into the overnight hours.

After the high for today reached 78 degrees in Dayton and Cincinnati and 74 in Columbus, the overnight low will be around 64 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

There is a chance of showers Friday, with thunderstorms also possible after noon and into the evening hours. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 77 degrees.

Friday night there is a chance of showers and storms before 9 p.m., then a slight chance of showers between 9 and 11 p.m. under partly cloudy skies. The overnight low will fall to around 60 degrees.

The weekend is expected to be mostly sunny and dry.

Highs will be near 78 degrees Saturday. A few clouds move in for Saturday night, which will have an overnight low near 62 degrees.

It will be warmer for Sunday, with a high temperature near 82 degrees. Some clouds move in again Sunday night, which will have an overnight low around 63 degrees.
