Overnight showers from Saturday into Sunday morning will be non-severe, but heavy rain is possible at times, according to the NWS.
“Winds will increase on Sunday and there will be a window in the afternoon for severe potential,” the NWS said. “A line of showers and thunderstorms may develop along a cold front this afternoon. Stronger showers or storms will have the potential to produce strong to damaging winds. Also, an isolated tornado can not be ruled out.”
Wind gusts of 40 mph or greater will be possible Sunday afternoon into early evening along with a Wind Advisory in place for Montgomery, Warren, Darke, Miami, Champaign, Clark, Butler, Greene and other counties until 11 p.m. tonight.
Tonight brings a slight chance of rain showers and gusty winds with a low of 39 degrees.

Monday brings a partly sunny sky with a high of 50 degrees, followed by a rainy overnight as lows fall around 43 degrees.
Rain continues into New Year’s Eve with highs near 50 degrees. Tuesday night will involve rain showers before 4 a.m. with a slight chance of snow showers. The lows will drop down into the mid-30s for the night.
On New Year’s Day, there’s a chance of rain and snow between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. It will be cool with highs around 38 degrees. Overnight, expect mostly overcast skies and lows in the mid-20s.
