Isolated showers possible this evening; it will be dry, sunny rest of week

There is a chance for isolated showers before 9 p.m., followed by dry weather until the weekend.

The high temperature for today reached 78 degrees in Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus. Tonight will be partly cloudy with an overnight low around 61 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 81 degrees for both Wednesday and Thursday. It will stay mostly clear and calm at night with overnight lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Friday will be sunny and hotter, with the high temperature near 85 degrees. Friday night will be partly cloudy with an overnight low around 66 degrees.

A chance of rain returns for the weekend beginning Saturday afternoon.
