Thursday will be wet and the warmest day of the week with the high temperature near 54 degrees, almost 20 degrees above normal for this time of year. It won’t last long, however, because a cold air mass will return, with temperatures expected to plummet to near freezing overnight.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely Thursday, with areas of morning fog. Rain showers may transition to snow late Thursday into early Friday, but little to no snow accumulation is expected.

Snow is expected Friday, which will be cloudy with a high temperature near normal at 36 degrees. The overnight low is projected to be the lowest of the new year, around 23 degrees.
The weekend is expected to be sunny with temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s.
The warmth and rain returns for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 50 degrees Monday, with showers likely, mainly after 2 p.m.
