Skies will stay mostly clear through the night.

Highs will be around 62 degrees today, falling to around 40 degrees overnight, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and dry, with a high near 70 degrees. There will be a few more clouds at night, though otherwise it will be calm as temperature fall to around 45 degrees.

Clouds will gradually increase during the day and overnight on Thursday. Highs will be around 71 degrees.

Thursday night, there will be a slight chance of rain starting after midnight, leading up to rain during the day on Friday. Lows will be around 49 degrees.

The chance for rain increase Friday into Saturday, but timing and amounts remain uncertain at this time.

Temperatures will cool slightly Friday, with highs in the lower 60s. Gusty winds are also possible Friday.
