A Frost Advisory is in effect from 3 to 10 a.m. for Butler, Darke, Montgomery, Preble and Warren counties, issued by the National Weather Service. Overnight low temperatures in the mid-30s will lead to frost formation that could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.

After patchy frost Saturday morning, it will be mostly sunny and cool, with a high near 59 degrees.

Clouds will start to increase throughout the afternoon, with a chance of rain starting after dark. Showers will be likely after midnight and will continue during the overnight hours. The low temperature will fall to around 45 degrees.

It will be a soggy Mother’s Day, with thunderstorms also possible in the afternoon. Highs will be near 59 degrees. Showers continue through about 10 p.m. Sunday night, with possibly a thunderstorm, before chances diminish. Rainfall could measure between 1 and 2 inches for the day. Moderate to heavy rain through Monday morning could cause flooding in low-lying areas or near rivers, the NWS said. The overnight low will fall to around 43 degrees.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 59 degrees. Monday night will be partly cloudy with an overnight low around 38 degrees.

Tuesday will be sunny and slightly warmer with a high near 61 degrees. Skies will be mostly clear overnight with a low around 40 degrees.
