Skies will be mostly clear and cooler tonight after a cold front brought showers and lower temperatures into the region.

Highs for today reached 82 degrees in Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Overnight lows are expected to drop to around 55 degrees.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with afternoon highs near 76 degrees. It will be mostly clear Thursday night with an overnight low around 53 degrees.

High temperatures for Friday are expected near 78 degrees under sunny skies. Skies stay clear Friday night, with an overnight low around 56 degrees.

It will be warmer and sunny Saturday, which will have a high temperature near 83 degrees. It will stay clear with an overnight low around 64 degrees.

It heats up for Sunday, which will be sunny with a high near 88 degrees, according to the NWS.
