Dayton Power & Light and CSX crews responded to the 5900 block of Demming Road east of Ansonia. They cleared the train tracks just before 3 a.m. Friday.

The crews also removed power lines that had fallen on and around the tracks.
Investigators said they would return later in the day, when there’s enough light, to further investigate what caused the silo to fall.
FIRST REPORT
A strong storm that rolled through Thursday night knocked over buildings and brought down trees and power lines.
A barn was destroyed and two silos were reported down in the 5900 block of Demming Road east of Ansonia, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

The Darke County Emergency Management Agency reported the thunderstorm damage, which happened around 10:26 p.m. included trees and power lines down, a barn destroyed and damage to grain silos in its report to the National Weather Service.
Deputies and fire crews are on scene, and the county EMA also was contacted, according to the sheriff’s office.
