Sunny, breezy, chilly weather today; Rain returns tomorrow

Today will be sunny, breezy and chilly, with highs around 45 degrees and wind gusts as high as 28 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Tonight will be mostly clear with lows around 25 degrees.

Tomorrow there will be increasing clouds, with a chance of rain starting in the afternoon and showers likely starting around dark. Rain is expected to continue throughout the night.

Highs will be around 49 degrees tomorrow, dipping slightly to around 41 degrees tomorrow night.

On Friday, the NWS predicted that the rain continue in the morning, falling to just a chance of rain starting around noon and falling away around dark.

Heavy rainfall is possible late Thursday and early Friday.

Highs will be around 56 degrees.

Friday night will be mostly cloudy and cold, with lows falling to around 28 degrees.
