Sunny skies for Easter Sunday, warmer this week

It will stay dry for the upcoming week with temperatures expected to rise well above normal by the end of the workweek, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Easter will have sunny skies and a high near 63 degrees.

Conditions will be overall pleasant and nice throughout today with no rain in sight. Skies tonight will stay clear with an overnight low around 37 degrees.

A chance of frost is possible Monday morning.

Sunny skies with dry conditions continue into the workweek. A dry week is also coming along with a warming trend. Increasing clouds will coming from an incoming system late in the week into next weekend with an increased chance of rain.

Monday’s high temperature will be near 69 degrees. Monday night will start off mostly cloudy, then gradually become clear. Calm wind will go with the moderate conditions. The overnight low will fall around 42 degrees.

Sunshine is here yet again Tuesday along with temperatures rising into the 70s. A high of 73 degrees is expected. Skies will be partly cloudy Tuesday night with overnight low temperatures dropping into the lower 50s.

Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 74 degrees. Skies stay clear for Wednesday night, which will have an overnight low around 49 degrees.

A high of 77 degrees and sunny skies is on the forecast for Thursday.
