MIAMI VALLEY TORNADOES: What you need to know

Widespread damage from tornadoes late Memorial Day evening has been reported in the Miami Valley. Schools, homes and businesses have been damaged or destroyed. Tens of thousands were without power, emergency shelters have been opened and Montgomery County residents are being asked to conserve water.

At least 15 tornadoes, ranging in strength from EF0 to EF4, were confirmed in Auglaize, Darke, Greene, Mercer and Montgomery counties. Crews are working to confirm other damage.
