Warm air to bring high temperatures midway through the week

This week, warm air will bring higher than average temperatures as spring draws nearer. Temperatures could reach as high as the mid-60s on Tuesday and Wednesday, the National Weather Service in Wilmington reported.

While temperatures will grow warmer midway through the week, today will be cooler, with temperatures between 48 degrees and 30 degrees. The skies today will be sunny and we may see some light wind today. Overnight, the skies will be clear, the NWS said.

Tomorrow will bring higher winds and slightly warmer temperatures, with highs in the lower 60s. Overnight temperatures could drop to the high 30s. Wind speeds on Monday could reach as high as 16 mph, the NWS said.

On Tuesday, warm air in the region will bring temperatures up as high as 65 degrees. The skies will be mostly sunny, though we could see some clouds in the evening. Overnight, temperatures may drop as low as 45 degrees.
