Repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected through the weekend along with muggy conditions.

Showers and thunderstorms may continue late afternoon into evening and overnight, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Friday’s highs reached 74 degrees in Dayton, 72 in Cincinnati and 75 in Columbus. Today’s high reached 76 degrees. The overnight low will fall around 64 degrees.

Showers are likely Sunday with possible thunderstorms. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 78 degrees.

Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low of 60 degrees.

The new workweek starts with a chance of showers, followed by likely showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. Monday, which will be mostly cloudy with a high near 75 degrees.

Monday night, showers are likely with a thunderstorm before 8 p.m., then a chance of showers and storms after 8 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 63 degrees.

Showers are likely for Tuesday, with possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. The day will be partly sunny and warmer with a high near 81 degrees.

Showers are likely and possibly a thunderstorm for Tuesday night, which will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 67 degrees.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms continue Wednesday through Thursday night. Highs will be in the low 80s with overnight lows in the middle 60s to upper 50s.
