Clear, cool tonight; dry tomorrow through weekend

A cold front passed through the area this afternoon, bringing drier and cooler air after a wet start.

The high temperature reached 76 degrees in Dayton and 74 in Cincinnati and Columbus, according to the National Weather Service in Dayton.

Skies will be mostly clear tonight, with an overnight low around 54 degrees.

Friday will be sunny and seasonably warm, with highs near 77 degrees. Skies will be mostly clear Friday night with the overnight low temperature around 52 degrees.

Saturday will be sunny with a high near 77 degrees. Clouds move in for partly cloudy skies Saturday night, with an overnight low around 55 degrees.

It will be warmer with highs pushing into the 80s on Sunday. Mostly sunny skies and a high near 81 degrees is expected. However, there is a chance of showers overnight, which will have a low around 63 degrees.
