Want to see live reindeer in downtown Dayton? Here's how

One of our favorite reasons to go to the 44th Annual Grande Illumination? To see live reindeer, of course.

The event will have a new live reindeer display on Courthouse Square in downtown Dayton, featuring animals from Jungle Island Zoo out of Delphos, Ohio.

There will be three reindeer at the event. Two will be positioned with the sleigh as part of the family photo area. The third will be available for children to feed and pet.

According to Val Beerbower, PR & Communication Manager at the Downtown Dayton Partnership, the best time to see the reindeer will likely be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25.
