Where: Nearly 40 participating restaurants in the Dayton region.
Details: Each restaurant will offer a special curated menu featuring multiple courses for one price or a meal deal for two people. Many restaurants will offer a lunch deal during as well.
Cost: Meals start at $20.25 and $1 from every meal sold will be donated to a nonprofit.

3. “Three Tenors, Encore!”

Details: Dayton Opera salutes the fun, magic and expertise of the iconic 1990 Rome debut of The Three Tenors. Stepping into the legendary shoes of José Carreras, Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti 35 years later are tenors Moisés Salazar, Robert Stahley and Matthew White. Dayton native and University of Dayton alum Howard Watkins serves as musical director/pianist. The program will include selections from such classic works as “Carmen,” “Rigoletto,” “Tosca,” “Turandot” (best known for “Nessun dorma”) and “West Side Story.”

4. “Avenue Q”

Details: Ray Gambrel directs a charming, funny and tender production of this Tony Award-winning, R-rated musical comedy about friendship and forgiveness that brings humans and puppets together with irreverent, “Sesame Street”-esque glee. In addition to a breakthrough portrayal by Sarah Roddey as Kate Monster, delivering a wonderfully heartfelt rendition of Act 1 finale “There’s a Fine, Fine, Line,” Hairong Gu, conveying the exasperated Christmas Eve with humorous grace, turns “The More You Ruv Someone” into a skillful torch song complete with dramatic fan reveal. Musical director Lorri Topping’s expert leadership of the orchestra, Sean Mayo’s set and Richard Lee Waldeck’s lighting are also notable.

5. “The Brutalist”

Details: Nominated for 10 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director, this epic drama concerns a Holocaust survivor attempting to pursue his American dream in 1940s Pennsylvania. Adrien Brody is marvelously flawed as the emotionally scarred, visionary architect László Tóth, whose life changes in unexpected ways when he becomes the object of admiration for a wealthy industrialist (Guy Pearce). After a 15-minute intermission, the film completely kicks into another gear when Felicity Jones arrives as László‘s wife, leading to a fascinating turn of events both harrowing and heartbreaking.
