The new 4,000-square-foot fitness and wellness center in Centerville, 124 Westpark Road, is designed to be a one-stop shop to help people live healthier. From a wide variety of fitness classes to a full slate of holistic services, Row Cycle Fitness – part of The Lifestyle Technique, which has been creating and hosting wellness events for a years – is focused on creating a supportive community for all ages and ability levels.

“Classes are fun and dynamic, and they just fly by,” Daniel said. “But we offer more than exercise classes.”

Breaking a sweat

State-of-the-art rowing machines fill the expansive space but it’s about quality, not just quantity as Row Cycle Fitness also has a team of experienced instructors certified by U.S. Rowing. The rowing classes are designed to offer a challenging workout in a supportive environment.

Cycling sessions offer fun and personalized fitness information as participants wear heart monitors and see real-time data projected on the wall during class.

“They are playing their own heartrate game and learning how their bodies are responding,” Daniel said. “Our bodies are meant to go through different zones while we’re exercising, and we also need to have an active recovery. This helps people learn how their body can use fat as energy.”

Beyond the machines, the new fitness and wellness center also offers strength training classes with barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells and resistance bands to help build lean muscle and improve functional strength. Yoga classes are also offered, benefitting both mental and physical health.

Breaking bad habits

Poor eating habits, too little sleep, too much stress, chronic inflammation – getting and staying healthy might require breaking the cycle.

The wellness center offers a variety of services designed to create healthy habits. From a DNA fitness and nutrition test to a personalized nutrition plan, adults and children alike can get healthy from the inside out. Daniel, a registered nurse, is committed to providing an evidence-based approach to health and wellness.

Other services include an InBody Scan non-invasive body composition analysis, red light therapy, AromaTouch essential oil treatments and use of the infrared mat or the cold plunge tub.
