Menda (Crothers), Dianne Kay

Dianne Kay (Crothers) Menda, 76, of Springfield, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at Springfield Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born January 31, 1948 in Springfield, the daughter of Charles E. and Bernadine (Hopkins) Crothers. Dianne graduated from South High School and is retired from Community Hospital. She began working for Springfield Surgery Center when it opened and remained there until its closing. Dianne then worked for Associated Pain Medicine and most recently for Integrated Pain Solutions. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. Dianne enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were everything to her. Survivors include her daughter, Deidre Stoliker; two granddaughters, Catherine Ward and Skylar Stoliker; special cousins, Judy (Ned) Robe, John (Linda) Beekman, Sr., and Gary (Mary Ellen) Beekman; special friends Patricia Shafer and Dr. Paul Chu. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Menda; brothers, Charles E. Crothers, Jr. and Robert Crothers; mother and stepfather, Bernadine and Carlos Anderson; father, Charles E. Crothers; and special cousin, Larry (Mary) Beekman. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday in the New Covenant Baptist Church, 455 E. Main St. Enon, OH with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Additional visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Mausoleum. Condolences may be shared with Dianne's family at www.jkzfh.com.
